
Ahead of Sales was delighted to be back supporting the Start Up Croydon Sales Bootcamp on Thursday morning.
The Start Up Bootcamp is designed for Croydon and Bromley businesses at the start of their business journey, although businesses at any stage can join. The bootcamp sessions aim to give new businesses the solid foundations they need to successfully launch or grow.
Ahead of Sales has been supporting the bootcamp for two years and, perhaps unsurprisingly, we give a 1.5 hour session solely focussed on sales. We do this because we love working at the grassroots and if businesses begin their journey knowing how to sell, they make things a lot easier moving forwards.
Subjects covered include:
- What is Sales and Who Sells?
- Understanding your Customer
- Understanding your Market Position
- Building your Messaging
- Building your Sales Process
- The Basics of Sales Conversations
There were 10 new businesses in the room, with a huge variety of services – from beauty products, to photography, to interactive tea drinking!
This made for a really fun and interactive session and we were blessed with a really energetic room.
We never quite manage to fit everything in, possibly because we get a bit too passionate about certain areas (KNOW YOUR CUSTOMER) but we hope that all the participants were able to get something useful out of the day.
